BMW Share the Joy - Earth Hour

BMW prides itself as one of the most fuel efficient cars. In conjunction with BMW's Joy campaign, a good way to promote this is to take advantage of Earth's Hour Beyond the Hour campaign. If BMW can facilitate a carpool programme in different cities, they can physically reduce carbon emission even if it's just one day. This can position BMW as a socially responsible and eco-friendly brand. This is possible by facilitating BMW owners to "Share the Joy".

By allowing BMW owners to "Share the Joy", those who don't own a BMW car can experience how wonderful the cars are. Perhaps it can persuade or convince others to purchase BMW cars in the near future. This creates a community of sharing and caring through their wonderful cars.

WEGO Happy Places

Wego.com is a website that browses over 150 websites to find the best travelling deals for you. Happy Places aim to accompany this service by listening to real reviews, feedback and comments made on social network channels such as twitter or foursquare or facebook or blogger and etc. By geo-tagging twitter feeds with positive or negative tags, we can calculate how positive (happy) or negative a city is. Eventually, we can find out what others say about the city or find reviews about specific accommodations, ratings on restaurants and so on. Real reviews by real people in real time.

PistonHeads Classifieds

PistonHeads is a community site made up of performance car enthusiasts. These are consumers who know what they want and what goes under the hood of a good performance car. Through user experience research and interviews, we found out that these group of people use very specific yet diverse set of criteria to search for very specific cars. A customisable modular search system is designed to cater to this very unique behaviour. This allows the user to search cars by using filters that are important to them.

This group of users are very passionate about every car they own. They show a lot of love and care for the car up to the point of selling them off. We allow the users to create adverts to sell their car with the ability to add very detailed descriptions on the photos. For example, they can tagged the photos of their car and input a brief description of time of purchase, how it has performed, or a link where they bought the wheels from.

Have a break. Kit Kat entertains.

Have a break. Kit Kat will entertain you. Slide to set your break time. The microsite will randomly search for entertainment that suits your break time. It can range from a quick movie trailer (2 minute setting) to a full Youtube movie (2 hour setting) or a funny Flickr image (30 second setting) to an emotionally moving poetry (5 minute setting). We can have banners or applications on specific sites like Youtube and facebook, which will take you to the microsite to view the random entertainment. When logged on to the social channels, the microsite can find relevant and similar entertainment that is frequently viewed by the user.

B&Q Youtube F-Commerce

Video content is getting more popular online. There is higher demand for learning through web videos. B&Q should take advantage of this by producing DIY and showroom videos on Youtube and practising SEO marketing to get consumers to a dedicated channel. The products featured in the videos will then be tagged for the consumers to start purchasing straight from Youtube.

An award winning project (http://www.financialinnovationawards.com/2010/winners.cfm) within UK's financial insdustry. Barclaycard is staying relevant to their customers by providing accessibility through mobile phones. The challenge in this project is creating an accessible site within mobile phone parameters and reinforcing brand integrity and security.

Craving Burger King? - Augmented Reality Installation

A billboard that appears to be a see-through glass but is in fact, an LCD screen. Using face recognition and augmented reality, each passerby within a specified radius will have a burger for a head. The viewer can also interact with the installation by touching the burgers and downloading coupons or even directions to the nearest Burger King.

BMW JOYRIDE

Playing along BMW's current positioning of JOY, this campaign aims at sharing the joy through an ambassador programme. Get BMW enthusiasts who don't own a BMW and let them experience the car and lifestyle of a BMW owner. We then assist them in spreading the word through social media by rigging the car with devices that can measure efficiency and comfort and connecting the entire car to a phone application.

We can now eliminate logging into a secure site or the tedious walk to an ATM machine just to find out how much money we have in our accounts.

The Guardian QR Installation - Olympics 2012

Using Quick Response (QR) technology, commuters can seek news from virtually anywhere. As the London Underground will be introducing WIFI at most tube stations, the commuters can keep themselves updated with the latest news about the Olympics 2012.

Goodyear Local Site

This Goodyear site emphasizes on providing consumers an efficient way for browsing and searching recommended tyre models or to make comparisons. It also has very accessible touch-points for online purchasing. The carousel marque acts as a highlight for promotions, recommended models, events and news. Visit www.goodyear.com.sg


Office Installation

This office installation is made up of a wall dressed up like a line-up gallery. With a motion-sensitive camera, a photo of a passerby will be snapped and uploaded automatically to Twitter and Facebook. The time and date will be superimposed in front the passer-by. It could be a very effective punch-card. Would not be too popular with the regular late-comers.


Intel - Innovators of Tomorrow

This microsite encourages the citizens of Thailand to contribute ideas on how to make Thailand a better place. The ideas, personal information and a photo that are contributed will be converted into a customised video that celebrates the contributor as a world champion idea generator.

Results
In a week and a half, we saw over a thousand submissions, over 10,000 votes and many many more 'click-throughs'. It has currently taken a life of its on. We recieved emails of praise from Thai consumers, thanking us for giving them a voice and a platform to illustrate their ideas and views. The viral video has been a successful 'drive-to-site'.

Goodyear Tyre Simulator

One can always test-drive a car before making a purchase but it's impossible to do the same with a set of wheels. The next best thing would be a tyre simulator. The user can try different tyre types on different terrain scenarios.


Select a car type, tyre model and terrain.

Control speed and turning using the keyboard.

During the simulation, the programme will provide advice
on driving or warning of dangerous driving.
Data like comfort level and noise will be visible.

Once simulation is complete, the user can make a purchase.
